Hand-cut and sewn in Toronto from ethically sourced Peace Silk. The Silk Lab's scrunchies are anti-creasing and designed to reduce friction on hair to prevent damage and split ends. A unique blend of 80% Silk and 20% polyester creates a more structured scrunchie.
No silk worms are harmed in the making of this scrunchie (unlike traditional silk). The Silk Lab's give their silk worms time to develop into moths in order to source their silk ethically. Once they have grown into moths, the textile is safely picked from the cocoon or picked from the ground where the threads naturally have dropped.
