All natural peanut butter (no other ingredients or additives) is a great source of protein, healthy fats, and vitamin B that helps to keep your dogs coat healthy.  Coconut oil is added to these treats to add shine to your dogs coat and help with your dog's odor. Flax seeds are included not only because they're a great source of fibre and protein, but healthy fatty acids that are beneficial for your dog's health too.

With goals to become a one-stop-shop for you and your pup, Billy's Treats was founded in 2018. When it came to meeting Billy, the founder’s German Shepherd/Border Collie, it was love at first sight. However, their first year with her were filled with way too many visits to the vet concerned for Billy's poor stool, dry skin, and other common issues. 

They learned that many affordable treat products use wheat, syrups, preservatives and additives, all ingredients that contribute to obesity, illness and disease, and are also common allergens for dogs. After researching and consulting vets, they found themselves having to customize her diet with more homemade options. They began testing ingredients (like oats, pumpkin, and flax seed) that are not only healthier, but also help to combat itchy skin, bad breath, and poor stool and turned them into nutritional treats that dogs love.
